- CDs, DVDs, and Videos are located on the third floor.
- Sound Cassettes are on the second floor.
- The Media Collection is located in the hallway of the library offices.
Guests and visitors are welcome to use library items but may not check out or remove them from the library. Please see the section on library signs below to see how to keep a library item you are using from being re-shelved.

Checking out an item from our library
For Books:
- Remove the card from the pocket in the front of the book.
- Sign the card with your name or library unique ID number.
- Place the card in the checkout box located on the library front desk or the box located on the landing between the second and third floors of the library stacks.
For CDs, DVDs, Videos, Sound Cassette, or the Media Collection:
- Sign your name and list the item call number on the clipboard located near each collection.
Place your returns on the shelves in the hallway of the library offices. The return shelves are to the right as you enter the hallway from the reading room. If the office is closed, you may put the item on the circulation desk in the reading room.
The library maintains two displays: New Additions Display and a Theme Display. Items on the New Additions Display are changed weekly. Theme Display items are changed every two weeks.
Display items may not be checked out immediately, but may be reserved. To reserve a display item, sign your name on the circulation card for books or sign the checkout sheet for Audio Visual items, but leave the item on the display. When the displays are rotated, the library will notify you that you can come and pick up your item.
