“Remember that you have such a great calling for your life. One of the greatest things you will ever do in your life and one of the greatest gifts you can ever give the people in your life—whether that’s your future parish or wherever it is the Lord is going to call you to, and how you spend your love in this vocation—the greatest gift you can give them is your own healing. In a very real way, talk about forgivness. Talk about the times when you had to take on that Benedictine charism of stability. It’s that thought of, ‘God is not elswhere,’ especially when He’s asking you to dig into that real ora et labora, that pray and work. Sometimes that is the deep work of healing.”
