CSC fall play promises laughter and absurdity!
Conception Seminary College to hold fall play
Conception Seminary College will present the hilarious comedy entitled 12 Incompetent Jurors by Ian McWethy on Friday, Nov. 10, 2017 and Saturday, Nov. 11, 2017 at 8:00 p.m. and Sunday, Nov. 12, 2017 at 2:30 p.m. in St. Michael Hall Gymnasium on the Conception Seminary College campus in Conception, Mo.
The comedy follows the case of a man accused of abducting half a dozen cats. It’s a simple open-and-shut case, even for a jury that’s filled with oddballs: an eager to please Foreman, an anxiety-prone person, a bratty teenager, bickering Mafia brothers, a sweet lonely fellow, a very creepy guy obsessed with French fries, a very angry guy, a dim-witted PR guy, an immigrant. After all, every scrap of evidence indicates the accused is so clearly guilty of stealing cats. Case closed, you would think! And yet, Juror #8, a wannabe lawyer, believes that the “Cat Burglar” is innocent. Will he be able to sway the other jury members? Or will they side with Juror #3, the only sane man in the room? Come see this hilarious parody of 12 Angry Men.
