Bio / Information:

Fr. Duane joined the Capuchin-Franciscans in 1970 and was ordained in 1976. He is a member of the Capuchin Province of Mid-America, Province of St. Conrad, which is headquartered in Denver, Co. Before coming to Conception Seminary College, he served in various parishes, university campus ministries, and chaplaincy positions, then pursued advanced studies in pastoral counseling. Upon finishing those studies in 1992, he began counseling and teaching at Conception as well as ministering part-time among the Native American community in northeastern Kansas. Currently, he regularly serves Our Lady of the Snows Catholic shrine on the reservation of the Potawatomi Nation.
