Favorite Memory from your time at Conception Seminary College?
Church chat in Brad Berhost’s room. Star gazing and faith sharing with my sister Rachel and Johnny Blauw. Batman’s bratwurst under the pines. Dr. Brownsberger’s formation conferences.
Favorite course you took at CSC?
Triune God with Dr. Brownsberger
What will you miss the most CSC?
Solitude. Fraternity. Soccer/Volleyball Tournament (Thundercup)
Favorite Sacred Scripture passage?
Mark 12:30 and Sirach 7:36
What did you learn most while at CSC?
Listening skills and developing an interior silence.
Word of wisdom?
Discernment is a relationship, it is not something you can do alone.
What ways have you grown as a result of the formation at CSC?
I have learned to become more patient with myself. Also, I have grown in my desire to serve the people of God. Self awareness.

Thank you most especially to Dr. Stilley for showing me the usefulness of Philosophy. Thank you to all the faculty for allowing us to experience the fullness of Saint Thomas Aquinas.

Greatest impact on your decision to enter seminary? Why?
Mostly the following people: Fr. Jim Novotny, Fr. Damien Cook, Fr. Michael Voithofer, Fr. John Corapi, a four day silent retreat with Msgr. Wheelan, and reading the books The Lamb’s Supper and the CCC.
